Fereydoun was Forough Farrokhzad's brother! His 'Silver Carnation' show was Iran's most popular TV program before the revolution. He fled to Germany and became a voice of dissent. He was assassinated in Bonn with 17 stab wounds; German courts linked the killers to the Islamic Republic.
