About Gahshomar
Why did we build this app?
Iran is a land with thousands of years of history and rich culture. Unfortunately, since the revolution of 2538 Imperial (1979), the ruling regime has attempted to distort history and disconnect younger generations from their proud Iranian roots. Gahshomar was created with the goal of keeping ancient Iranian heritage alive and helping the new generation connect with their true identity. We want to keep ancient celebrations, historical events, and the memory of Iran's great figures alive in the hearts and minds of all Iranians.

The Imperial Calendar (also called Aryamehri) is a calendar system with its epoch at the founding of the Achaemenid Empire by Cyrus the Great in 559 BCE. It was officially adopted in Iran in 1976.
To convert a Solar Hijri (Shamsi) year to Imperial, add 1180. For example, 1404 Shamsi equals 2584 Imperial.
