Kamal-ol-Molk's 'Hall of Mirrors' painting was so realistic that Naser al-Din Shah thought it was an actual mirror! He studied painting in Europe for 12 years, including at the Louvre. After the Constitutional Revolution, he founded the School of Fine Arts. He went blind in old age but continued painting.
