Fun Facts

The word "Daghiyan" was created as an alternative to "Ashura" to show that the true mourning of Iranians is not for events 1400 years ago, but for their own children. Some reports estimate the death toll to exceed 30,000, making this the deadliest crackdown in the history of the Islamic Republic.
