Saadi lived over 100 years; his tomb 'Saadiyeh' is in Shiraz. He wrote: 'I am a slave of the moon—speak to me of nothing but the moon.' After 30 years of travel, Saadi returned to Shiraz and wrote the Gulistan and Bustan.
